Imperative Mood (statements of command)
E.g., “You must study Greek.”

Optative Mood (statements of prayer or polite request)
E.g., “God, make Greek fun.”
E.g., “Dale, will you love Stacey?”
Infinitives (Verbs introduced by “to”)
E.g., “To study Greek is to have fun.” (substantive)
E.g., “Dale needs to love Stacey.” (dependent)
